The Martinus House in Mayrhofen in the Zillertal Valley has been run by our family for three generations. Our grandparents laid the foundation. Our parents then took over the house and, with great dedication, passion, and tireless commitment, developed, expanded, and shaped it.

They were hosts with big hearts, always there for their guests – and they made the Martinus House what it is today.

Today, my husband and I have the privilege of continuing this story – with great respect for what has been created over all these years and with our own ideas for the future.

From Generation to Generation

It is particularly wonderful for us that this history is also reflected in our guests.

Many families have been coming to us for many years. Guests of our parents became our guests. And children who once vacationed with us have grown into adults who now return with their own families.

This means more to us than just regular guests. It is a sign that a place can become a home away from home.

For us, hospitality is more than just providing you with beautiful accommodations. We want you to feel welcome and well cared for from the very first moment. And we're happy to be there for you – with a listening ear, personal tips, and recommendations to make your holiday even more enjoyable.

The Penken and Ahorn cable cars, the town center, the supermarket, and the bus stops are just a few minutes' walk away. You can easily reach many places on foot – you're welcome to leave your car parked. And if you're ever unsure where to go, we're happy to help. Whether it's a beautiful hike, a cozy mountain hut, a family outing, or a special tip for your day in Mayrhofen – just drop by. We're happy to assist you.

Haus Martinus has changed over the years – and will continue to change. New apartments have been built, our log cabins are being modernized step by step, and contemporary comforts are being added where they make sense.

However, we want to preserve exactly what our guests appreciate about us: the personal atmosphere, the cozy surroundings, and the feeling of being welcome.

Our log cabins tell a story and have their own unique charm. Our newly built apartments combine this personal atmosphere with modern comforts.
